Break from the blog stories around the world to review being back, few months later.
I have been traveling for two years. During that time, I experienced many different things, some extraordinary of course, many ordinary as well. There’s no negative assert on that, travel was not only about wonders and magnificent places. Travel was about people, about connecting with the world, with others, with myself.
I lived fully, enjoyed every second. I learnt a lot about myself and about others as well. I evolved to a better version of myself, more patient, more caring, more attentive, more focused. In Japan, I learnt to listen, to truly listen.
Over there, it is politeness 101 to do so, not interrupting someone. When I landed there from South America, I very soon noticed in the wide open eyes of some interlocutors that they were shocked. Interrupting someone is very rude in Japan. I had the chance to learn this from a traditional and yet very open and kind family. And I liked it. I gave it some thoughts and tried ever since to apply that principle.
Traveling, happiness and freedom were everywhere.
